Admin Support Services
For the tedious, necessary tasks you don’t need to do yourself.
Admin support is for authors and creative business owners who have clear tasks, finished materials, or routine updates that need to be handled so they can spend their time on the work only they can do.
Join the Open for Work Notice List to hear when admin support hours are available.
You know what needs to be done, but you don’t want to spend your time doing it
You have finished content, links, files, or instructions ready to hand over
The task is necessary, but not the best use of your energy
You want help clearing small pieces from your backlog
You need practical support without turning the task into a full project
This is useful when…
Admin support may include:
Website content updates
Metadata updates
Uploading or formatting finished content
Checking links, forms, pages, or files
Basic newsletter or mailing list updates
Simple product, service, or listing updates
Organizing files, notes, or project materials
Preparing checklists, documents, or hand-off notes
Small cleanup tasks connected to one project
Best Fit
This is the “please take this off my list” service.
Admin support works best when the task is clear, the materials are ready, and you want someone else to handle the doing.
Not A Good Fit
This is not the “figure this out for me” service.
If the task needs research, strategy, design decisions, complex setup, or figuring out what should happen next, another service tier may be a better fit.
What I Actually Do
Update
I make straightforward updates using the content, links, files, or instructions you provide.
Organize
I clean up, sort, format, or structure information so it is easier to use, find, or hand off.
Prepare
I get small pieces ready for the next step, whether that means setting up a document, formatting content, checking links, or preparing materials for use.
How It Works
1
Review the service and decide whether Admin Support fits the task you want to hand off.
2
Join the Open for Work Notice List and select Admin Support as an area of interest.
3
When admin support hours open, I’ll send booking details to the relevant notice group first.
4
If the available slot fits your timing and budget, you can book prepaid hours and submit one clear focus for the time.
What to Have Ready
Admin Support works best when the task is clear enough to hand off.
Before booking, it helps to have:
The finished content, files, links, or notes involved
Access to the website, platform, folder, account, or tool I’ll be working in
Clear instructions for what needs to be updated, uploaded, organized, or prepared
Any deadlines, formatting preferences, examples, or important context
One main focus for the booked time
You do not need to over-prepare or micromanage the task. The goal is to give me enough context to complete the work without chasing missing pieces.
Admin Support works best when the task is already clear and ready to hand off.
If the work still needs research, strategy, design decisions, troubleshooting, or planning before it can be done, I’ll point you toward the service tier that fits better.
If you prefer to discuss the task in a meeting before I begin, please allow at least one additional booked hour for communication, clarification, and setup.
Service Boundaries
Admin Support is booked by prepaid hours when work slots are available.
You’ll choose the number of hours you want to book for one clear task or milestone. If the work needs more time than booked, I’ll complete as much focused progress as the time allows and send a summary of what was done, what changed, and what may need attention next.
Progress still counts, even when the whole task is not finished in one block. Many admin tasks become useful as soon as part of the backlog is cleared, content is updated, files are organized, or the next step is easier to see.
Booking links are released through the Open for Work Notice List when admin support hours open.

FAQs
Can I book one hour?
Yes. One hour can be useful for a small, clear task. For larger admin backlogs, one hour may only move the first piece forward.
What happens if the work takes longer than booked?
I’ll complete as much focused progress as the booked time allows and send a summary of what was done, what changed, and what may need attention next.
Do meetings count as booked time?
Yes. Meetings, calls, and extended discussion require booked time. If you want to talk through the task before handing it over, plan to book at least one extra hour.
Can I use Admin Support for more than one task?
Only if the tasks are closely related and fit within one clear focus. If you have several unrelated tasks, they may need to be split into separate bookings.
What if I’m not sure this is the right service?
If the work needs research, strategy, design decisions, troubleshooting, or planning before it can be done, another service tier may be a better fit.
Do you offer rush work?
Rush work is handled through Project Inquiry only. Urgent work needs a defined scope, timeline, and quote before it can be scheduled.
